Breakfast on the Patio 19" x 24.5" framed SOLD I loved playing with the shapes here - the rectangular bricks, the round saucers of milk. This painting started out as an experiment in underpainting in complimentary colors. I left the pastel strokes on the bricks loose, letting the blue/ greens glow from underneath. This piece was juried into show "For Pastels Only, on Cape Cod" Aug 3-31,2002 at the Creative Arts Center of Chatham (MA) |
